Personal data are information concerning your person. This includes details such as your name, address, postal address, telephone number etc. Information that cannot be directly related to your actual identity (such as amount of time spent on the website or number of users of the website) does not count as personal data. Personal data are only collected at TCMAG if you proactively authorise us to do so, for instance when registering for personalised services. The forwarding of your data to third parties outside the TCMAG and its contractual partners is ruled out unless permitted or required by statutory regulations.



We collect and make use of your personal data that we have received through the use of our Internet services only within the legally permissible framework and only for the purpose for which you have made them available to us (e.g. request for information material, entry of comments, newsletter orders).  The data entered are subject to far-reaching security measures intended to prevent unauthorised access, inhibit inappropriate use and protect the data against damage or loss. Data transmission via the Internet takes place using SSL/TSL encryption. Standard browsers support the SSL/TLS procedure. You can tell from the closed representation of the padlock symbol and “https://” in the address bar of your browser whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form. If you decide to enter personal details such as your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address via the contact form or requests for product information etc., you consent to our collecting, processing and using the data made available to us for the envisaged purpose such as processing your request or newsletter order. If, for example, you request information about products or services, we will use your data to provide you with the corresponding information. It may be necessary for this purpose for us to pass on your data to the applicable company belonging to the TCMAG or to its contractual partners. You can revoke your consent at any time with future effect.



You can generally visit the non-personalised websites of TCMAG without letting us know who you are. Your visit to TCMAG website is recorded.

If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data that we require for technical purposes in order to display our website to you and guarantee the requisite stability and security (the legal basis is Art. 6, cl. 1, p. 1, lit. f GDPR): the IP address currently used by your computer, name of the retrieved site, date and time of retrieval, volume of data transmitted, notification of whether retrieval was successful, description of type of web browser used, operating system used, Internet browser used, operating system, number of visits, average time spent on site, sites retrieved. This information is analysed for statistical purposes while you as an individual user remain anonymous. No personal user profiles can be gained from these data. The information stored is used to determine the attractiveness of the TCMAG web pages and enhance their content.


You can assert your data protection rights towards us under certain conditions: 

  • You are entitled to receive information from us about your data stored with us in accordance with the provisions of Art. 15 GDPR.

  • At your request we will correct the data stored about you in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR if the latter are incorrect or erroneous.

  • If you wish, we will delete your data in accordance with the principles of Art. 17 GDPR unless prevented from doing so by other statutory regulations (e.g. statutory retention obligations) or an overriding interest on our part (e.g. for the defence of our rights and claims).

  • Subject to the requirements of Art. 18 GDPR, you can request us to restrict the processing of your data.

  • You can also register an objection to the processing of your data in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR requiring us to cease processing your data. However, this right of objection only applies if very special circumstances pertain with regard to your personal situation and the rights of our Group may obstruct your right of objection.

  • You are also entitled to receive your data subject to the provisions of Art. 20 GDPR in a structured, conventional and machine-readable format or to transmit them to third parties.

  • You are furthermore entitled to revoke consent granted to us for the processing of personal data at any time with future effect.

  • You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by us (Art. 77 GDPR). However, we recommend always initially addressing such complaints to us. 

The aforementioned rights can be denied or restricted in the event of overriding interests, rights and freedoms of third parties or if the processing serves the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims of TCMAG.  Inquiries concerning the processing of personal data and the exercise of your rights should wherever possible be addressed in writing to the applicable local data protection officers in the countries.


Our website may contain links to other websites. We have no influence on whether their operators comply with the data protection provisions. We also have no influence whatsoever on the legality of the contents of these websites and therefore accept no liability for the contents of other websites. TCMAG is not responsible for their contents or handling of personal data. Third-party websites are not governed by this privacy statement.

Under no circumstances will Google combine your IP address with other Google data. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that our website uses Google Analytics with the “_anonymizeIp()” extension in order to enhance data protection. In this case your IP address is initially shortened by Google within the member states of the European Union and in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address is only transmitted to a Google server in the USA before being shortened there in exceptional cases. This serves to exclude any direct personal references in the analysis of the use of our website. 

You can reject the placing of Google Analytics cookies by extending your browser. This way you can make use of your right to object to the collection, processing and use of data by Google Analytics with future effect.
